Who is Jason LoCascio?
A designer by trade but an artist and craftsman at heart. At the age of 15 the realization set in that, in order to earn a reliable income making art, it was going to have to be as a professional designer.
So in 2011, I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in communication design. I currently live in Colorado Springs, CO and work professionally as a user experience (UX) designer that specializes in the creation and maintenance of design systems.
Despite the joy and satisfaction my career brings me, I try to escape the clutches of the computer as often as possible and get back to working with my hands. In addition to UX and graphic design, I’m a pretty good fine artist, an amateur photographer, a proficient screen printer, I design and build bespoke furniture, and have multiple automotive projects.
